Join the Escondido Public Library in honoring Hispanic Heritage Month with a special author talk featuring Maria E. Garcia, acclaimed writer and community advocate, as she presents her book, We Made San Diego. Through powerful storytelling and in-depth research, Garcia highlights the vital contributions of San Diego’s Chicano and Latino communities to the city's cultural, social, and political landscape. 

Following the talk, stay for an engaging Q&A session where you’ll have the chance to ask questions and hear more from the author. Book signings for purchase will be available after the discussion.
