Celebrate Black History Month with the Escondido Public Library!

This year, we are joined by local author and UCSD Literature professor, Camille Forbes. Join us as she tells us all about her upcoming historical fiction novel called Minding the Territory, chronicling the fortunes and misfortunes of a young enslaved woman during the Civil War. She will also perform a light reading from select sections of her novel. 

This event will be held in Mershops North County’s Community Room on Level 2
